Join us for an evening of fellowship and fun. Your support will help us save mothers and unborn babies from the horrors of abortion. This year our speaker is David Bereit, who is the National Campaign Director of 40 Days for Life.
David became an outspoken pro-life advocate after Planned Parenthood announced plans to build an abortion clinic in his Texas town in 1998. He helped to start and build a local grassroots coalition that rallied 60 churches and thousands of people together and dramatically reduced abortions in the region. Planned Parenthood recognized the effectiveness of David’s efforts when it labeled his town “the most anti-choice place in the nation.” David led the first-ever 40 Days for Life campaign in College Station, Texas.
Through prayer and fasting, constant vigils outside of abortion facilities, and community outreach, the following are some of the many blessings 40 Days reported since 2007 when it became a national and international movement:
- 40 Days' campaigns have been held in over 300 cities across all 50 states, plus 6 Canadian provinces, 3 Australian states and communities in Northern Ireland and Denmark.
- Over 350,000 have joined to pray and fast to end abortion.
- Over 2800 'documented' lives have been spared from abortion.
- 35 abortion workers have quit their jobs and walked away from the abortion industry.
- 6 abortion facilites have completely shut down following local 40 Days for Life campaigns.
